Local Magician Uses Magic and Music to Teach Children to Reuse and Recycle.
Presenting his Educational Program called the MAGIC OF CONSERVATION AND RECYCLING Peter O'Malley Wows students. Dressed with a Top Hat and Bottles, Cans and Papers Attached to his jacket, this edutainer continues to educate and entertain young audiences.
The program content talks about our Environment, Natural Resources and the need to Reduce and Reuse so there will be plenty left for future generations.
In his presentation Mr. O'Malley uses Magic to demonstrate what happens to paper when it is recycled by ripping it up and then restoring it again. Or turning a plastic bottle into a tape. There is a song and lots of audience participation for students K-3.
Included is a role play where some of the kids actually get to put the cans, bottles and papers in the recycle box.
Angelo Giacalone Principal of the Roger Clap School in Boston in a letter of reference writes:"His presentation was dynamic and he involved all the students into the program Not only was the program entertaining, but as well, it was informative. The students left with a deeper understanding of why recycling is important and why it benefits us all".
O'Malley feels that the younger children will carry the message and make recycling a world wide success.
A former teacher with a Master Degree in Education O'Malley has been presenting his recycling message for the last seven years. He was named Entertainer of the Year by the Boston Parents Paper.
